CEAP's 2013 March FoodShare campaign has ended with much success. This year we raised $166,648.12 and 117,170 pounds of food with the help of our dedicated community partners. BE A HERO THIS MARCH!
February 19, 2013
As many of you know, March is Minnesota FoodShare month. Every year CEAP participates in this statewide food and fund drive to restock pantry shelves. For our donors’ efforts, a portion of every dollar and pound of food raised for CEAP is matched by Minnesota FoodShare and the Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches.
This year’s theme is “Be a Hero in the Fight Against Hunger.” CEAP's goal is to raise $200,000 and 150,000 pounds of food for families in need. We are calling on you to help us reach this goal and here's how:
- DONATE FOOD! We welcome all nonperishable food items at either of our locations. We provide food donation ideas as well
as hours and directions to our facilities. - FEELING AMBITIOUS? HOST A FOOD OR FUND DRIVE with your friends, family, and coworkers! We will supply gift forms, collection containers, and drop off and pick up services to anyone willing to host a drive. If you’re interested take a look at our
"How to Host a Food Drive" kit or "How to Host a Fund Drive" kit to get started. - MAKE A MONETARY DONATION! With your $50.00 gift we can provide $250.00 worth of groceries to families in need through our network of suppliers. You can mail a donation to either of our offices or you can donate online!
