Holiday Program

Donate food and/or gifts

Yes, the holidays will be here again before we know it! This is CEAP’s busiest season—when we enlist the help of local businesses, churches and service groups to make this a season bright for those who are less fortunate.

The holidays bring an increased financial burden for those who are already struggling. Last year, 651 families, 3,117 individuals and 120 seniors and persons with disabilities received holiday meals and/or gifts from CEAP’s Holiday Program.

How You Can Help

(See list of most needed food and gift items.)

  1. Food Drives
Hold a Food Drive to provide holiday meals for those in need! Consider donating a gift certificate for a turkey or other holiday meat.
  2. Gift Drive
Collect holiday gifts for children ages newborn to 18. Gifts must be new and unwrapped. Our greatest need is gifts for children ages 11-16.
  3. Gift Certificate Drive
It is difficult to find gifts for 17-18 yr olds. We are suggesting that donors give $20-$25 gift certificates and allow parents to buy the gifts.
  4. Monetary Donations
Make your $ go farther! Through CEAP's network of suppliers, we are able to increase the value of your donation. For example, with your $1 donation CEAP can buy approximately $5 worth of food. Please consider a gift of $500, $100, $50, or anything you can afford!

If you would like to help, or have questions, please call CEAP at (763) 566-9600.
